⚖️ The North West Construction Safety Group’s Mock Trial at St George’s Hall ⚖️
Last week, the North West Construction Health & Safety Group brought the courtroom to life with a powerful and thought-provoking Mock Trial in the iconic St George’s Hall.
Based on a real case from 2022, the event featured full-time barristers re-enacting the proceedings, giving attendees a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how health and safety failings are examined in court.
The session offered invaluable insights into legal accountability, safety leadership, and the real-world consequences when things go wrong on site.
In attendance on the day were our company owners Jamie Hoskinson and Dominic Rossi to support some of our managers whom had gallantly volunteered to participate in the proceedings as defendants.

Also in attendance from Kinlan were Harry Shaw, Maksim Vakulich, Carl Sharp, Brian king, Graham Collins, Paul Kane all of whom commented on how insightful and educational the session had been for them!
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success — and to the barristers and organisers for delivering such an engaging and educational experience that managed to raise £3,500 for the charity Mindflow.
