29.08.2024 – Developing and maintaining our managers Health & Safety knowledge and understanding is essential at Kinlan Brickwork.
Recently our Management team have been put to the test with our Health and Safety Manager Lee Hodge whom has been delivering health and safety investigation training to enable our teams to handle and investigate incidents in a more streamlined way than has previously been the case. Obviously we’re aiming to reduce our already low accident rate but it is reassuring to know our managers are well versed in how to control H&S incidents and gather information to unearth root causes and prevent reoccurrences .
Exciting progress is being made on-site at Lumina Village, with the brickwork now taking great shape across multiple blocks. The striking red façades are really beginning to define the development and bring the architectural vision to life.
We had the pleasure of hosting a talk and site walkaround with Leeds Building College and United Living Group, joined by a fantastic group of first-year apprentice bricklayers.
She’s recently been issued a Green Card for her outstanding contribution by our Client GMI Construction Group PLC — specifically for the construction of a safe access step into the ground floor main entrance.
Last week we had the privilege of helping plant laurels at St Joseph’s School as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local charities and community spaces.
